why are they from ucf… this program might as well been called the ucf scholarship only 1 person from rollins, three from seminole state, and 1 from polytehcnic puerto rico????? no one from any of valencia campuses? the hhsf has failed its members with this completely unrepresentative group

Response: Thank you for your comment. In 2010, we received a total of 205 scholarship applications. We work with financial aid officers at all Central Florida colleges and universities to encourage their students to apply for an HHSFMO scholarship. Here’s the breakdown of the schools from which we received applications:
    - 60% from UCF students
    - 10% from Rollins College students
    - 9% from Valencia Community College students
    - 8% from Seminole State College students
    - 14% from students at other colleges and universities in or around Central Florida.

The Board of Directors of the HHSFMO selects professionals from throughout the Central Florida community to serve on the Selection Committee. We give no preference to students from any college or university. We make every effort to make the selection process as objective as possible. Again, thanks for your comments and concerns.
