HHSFMO Board Sworn In

Today, April 12th, 2012, the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund of Metro Orlando (HHSFMO) launched the 2012 Scholarship Application period.  Students in any of the Central Florida colleges and universities are invited to apply through the HHSFMO’s online scholarship application.  Each scholarship award is for $5,000, which can be used for tuition, books, and school fees.  The HHSFMO will accept all complete applications submitted by Friday, May 31st, 2012.  To learn more, please visit http://HispanicHeritageScholarshipFund.org and click on the Scholarships tab.

 

In addition, a new Board of Directors was sworn in by Orange County Judge Antoninette Plogstedt at the Overlook Room of the Orlando City Hall.  Over the next two years, the board plans to expand the scholarship program, elevate the organization’s profile, and integrate scholars and alumni into its programs.
