Scholarships

The Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund has officially closed the 2011 scholarship spplication period.  Applications were due on Friday, May 27th, 2011.  The next scholarship application period should open up in March or April of 2012.

Since 2000, the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund (HHSF) has operated a scholarship program to recognize and assist outstanding Hispanic students in Central Florida in their pursuit of a college education.  To date, the HHSF has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to 154 students in Central Florida.

Each $5,000 scholarship is credited directly to the student’s account at College/University.  The scholarship award must be used for tuition, lab fees and/or books.
