Scholarships

The Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund (HHSFMO) officially launches the 2012 scholarship application period on Thursday, April 12.  The applications deadline is Friday, May 31, 2012.  Click on “Online Application,” “Eligibility Requirements,” and “Frequently Asked Questions” for more information.

Since its inception in 2000, the HHSFMO has awarded more than $630,000 in scholarships to 173 students in Central Florida.  The HHSFMO recognizes the continuing need for quality education, the financial challenges of our community, and the difference scholarship support can have in a student’s academic success.

Each $5,000 scholarship is credited directly to the student’s account at College/University.  The scholarship award must be used for tuition, lab fees and/or books.
