Eligibility Requirements

Students must meet the following eligibility requirements in order to apply for a scholarship from the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund:

Be of Hispanic heritage
Be a U.S. citizen OR legal permanent resident
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.00 scale
Be enrolled full or part-time in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution in one of the 7 Central Florida counties: Brevard County, Lake County, Orange County, Osceola County, Polk County, Seminole County, and Volusia County
Must have applied for Federal Financial Aid using the FAFSA
Scholarship recipients must attend the scholarship award ceremony in October, 2013
